The Ladies Golf Club of Toronto

Persimmon Golf is working with Ladies’ Golf Club of Toronto to complete a major renovation to its course. The renovations involve the installation of a new irrigation system, the introduction of wells, holding ponds, a new pumping house and related electrical service, the rebuilding of tees and the addition of two new greens. Persimmon Golf, the overall Project Manager is acting as the Club’s principal contact with the architect, engineers and contractors.

Changes to government regulations necessitate that the Ladies’ Golf Club of Toronto change its water sourcing from the Little East Don river to combinations of river, wells and water storage ponds. In conjunction with Dave Moote, the Club has developed a Course Master Plan that incorporates these requirements, replaces the aged irrigation system and implements some course enhancements that will improve course safety and playing conditions. Approval to these plans has been given by the membership. The timing for the project is the fall and winter of 2005/2006.
