Located on the shores of Stoney Lake, in the heart of the
Kawarthas, Wildfire is a masterfully designed private 18 Hole
Championship Facility, complete with practice facility laid
out in a unique geographic region where both limestone and
granite Canadian Shield landscapes exist. The fairways are
skilfully routed through spectacular granite outcroppings,
scenic wetlands and natural rolling meadows and farm fields.
The course is designed by Tom McBroom. The client is a private
equity group with financing from CitiCapital.
The private equity members club, which is currently under
construction is scheduled to open in the summer of 2003 and
is sure to become the jewel of the Kawartha Region.
Persimmon Golf, involved from the start, has been involved
with every aspect of project development to-date, working
very closely with the founding owners to provide management
services and coordination of the planning approvals, design,
engineering, environmental studies, budgeting, scheduling,
contract administration and construction supervision.
